October 2005 - Present
- Successfully implemented new Yahoo! Front-Page design (codename Spirit) using HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Responsible for site architecture, usability, accessibility and the maintenance of the site.
- Implemented and tested more than 50+ design to provide better experience to Yahoo! users.
- Reduce the load time of the Y! Front-Page to 2.3 seconds for broadband users.
- Implemented in-line video on the Front-Page (Public Alpha).
- Implemented search auto-complete (suggestions) (Public Beta).
- Created and tested multiple search treatment and implemented successful search design that increased search by 1% on the FrontPage.
- Implemented a window shade (an animated panel) to notify users about new features and products. Now other portals/sites like MSN and Adobe are using same technique to target users about their new features and product.
